In Tampere, students in grades 7–9 and in upper secondary schools switch to distance learning as of Monday 16 March

In order to control the spread of the coronavirus, the comprehensive schools run by the City of Tampere will move to provide remote teaching for students in grades 7–9 and in additional education for the period 16–27 March 2020. All comprehensive schools will also offer the option of contact teaching in the student’s own school. Teaching for grades 1–6 will continue as normal in all schools. As of Monday 16 March, the upper secondary schools of the City of Tampere will switch to distance learning, at least until the end of the period 4, which is 2 April 2020.
